Cybersecurity Networking Breakfast
The Department of State Growth is hosting a series of events with the aim of building knowledge and awareness of cyber-security within the Tasmanian manufacturing sector.
The event will be held in Launceston on 26 February. You will hear from three guest speakers as they discuss the current cyber-security environment for Australian SMEs, together with some relatable examples of actual cyber-security incidents and practical advice on how you can minimise risk and what to do if your business is impacted.
The Three guest speakers include:
Suzanne Gatti – Assistant DirectorAustralian Cyber Security Centre
Michael Murphy – Fortinet
Ben Jones – The Project Lab
The three presentations will take around 45 minutes (in total) followed by a Q&A session that will run for around 30 minutes.
As well as learning about cyber security, it will be a great opportunity to meet other business owners/operators in the Advanced Manufacturing and Defence sectors and grow your networks. We encourage any interested Tasmanian manufacturers to attend.
- We ask that all attendees join for the duration of the event.
- A light breakfast including tea, coffee & juice will be provided.
- If you register to attend online, you will receive a meeting link closer to the event date.
